Lead Scenic and Puppet Painter

• Brought in early to work with preproduction and build out the paint department
• Worked closely with Production Designer, Puppet Department, and Art Director to create warm and inviting color pallet for puppets and scenic elements
• Lead a team of five painters; it was important to me that everyone felt enjoyment and challenge, working to develop their strengths while balancing out the occasional boring or repetitive tasks
• Set realistic expectations within high pressure timelines, and repeatedly delivered on our promises!
• Prepared, cleaned, and painted everything from giant set pieces down to tiny ADORABLE props
• Airbrushing and hand painting heads/faces for main characters and robot
