About "So Far So Good"
I am a founding member, and the Lead Builder for Camp "So Far So Good". 2018 marks our 5th consecutive year as SFSG. We are a small and mighty, 7-10 person camp, composed of a harmonious blend of tech engineers and artists, introverts and extroverts. We are working on a more succinct write up of our mission statement and core values, which are loosly defined by: secular, creative, warm, loving, and hard working (See also: Burning Man 10 Principles) and we are focused on building playfully nostalgic, interactive experiences.
Art Installations and Chill Lounges
"Thinking Pods"
Two CNC cut wooden dodecohedron chairs were added in 2017, to provide cozy cuddle spaces for passers by to enjoy a moment of respite from the overstimulating environment, or just to take a great nap! Seen here: https://www.instagram.com/campsofarsogood/ |

5 Hole Mini Golf Course
A simply and elegant 5 hole mini golf course, designed and built by our very own camper, Michael Berman. The original course of three holes introduced in 2016, was so successful that it was expanded to five hole in 2017, including a small wooden Man to put through. Suitable for daytime or nighttime enjoyment, as the putting greens are lit with cleverly placed rope lights, this is our primary attraction.

Chill Lounge
A 20'x20' Morrocon themed lounge faces the street and is open for guests wanting to stop in and hang out with SFSG. The shade structure is drapped with beautiful tapestries that provide additional shade and cooling temperatures.

"Tensegrity" Suspension Hammocks
In 2018 we added a "Tensegrity" supension hammocks to our public lounge area, adding a shady little nap place for burners to enjoy and lounge in. Our camp mates built the system using this design tutorial:
