Creature & Animal

Skeletal Creature, Adolescent Scout, 2011; 9in x 11in x 7in, Chavant NSP Medium; This creature is an adolescent scout, sent out from his tribe's cavern deep in the forests, where he and his tribe have been hibernating these ten cold years. He and his fellow scouts will spread out and travel far and wide for the first signs of spring growth.

Dragon Half-Mask/Headdress, 2010; WED Clay, Latex rubber; Dragon half-mask was sculpted in WED clay and cast in 1/4" latex. Inspired by the Native American animal headdresses and spiritual ceremonies - this half mask is meant to be worn atop the head, face shielded by long teeth; head and neck protected by thick woolen braids that are adorned with feathers, and beads.
